We found Mikaela through a mutual friend when we saw her beautiful engagement photos on Instagram and immediately reached out to get Mikaela’s contact information. We are so lucky that she was available during our wedding date as she is HIGH in demand. A photographer was one of our top priorities when planning our wedding, and after much research, we couldn’t have been happier finding Mikaela. She makes you feel so comfortable right away, which was nice for two camera-shy people. Her personality actually made taking engagement photos fun, and the pictures came out naturally beautiful as a result. Besides her personality, she is an AMAZING photographer and captured our engagement and wedding perfectly. Mikaela was extremely easy to work with throughout the whole process and we were in constant communication with her through text or email. My husband and I have now had our pictures taken by Mikaela 3 times. We have done an engagement shoot, our wedding and a maternity shoot. We have trusted her to capture some of the most important moments of our life. And I could never trust anyone more than her!
Both my husband and I are not the best in front of a camera, we both get nervous and feel slightly awkward. She made us so comfortable and has always managed to get the most amazing photos. She traveled all the way out to an island off the coast for our wedding and was so happy to do so. Could not recommend her enough, 10 out of 10. We are so lucky she has been there for so many big moments for us. We can’t wait to take more pictures with her in the future.
